Children & Youth

Don’t miss our monthly Playground Party on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00am – 11:00am at the playground. We have games, music, prizes and a sweet treat each month! It’s a great chance to hang out, have a blast and meet families in our community.

We believe that church should be fun, so we have created a space for our middle & high school students to come together with their friends each Sunday afternoon from 3:30pm – 5:30pm in Room #217. Each weekend, we gather for an awesome snack, fun games, practical teaching and great conversation. All 6th – 12 graders are welcome to join us!

Girl Scouts have been active at Ardmore UMC for more than 60 years. We are part of the Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont Girl Scout Council and Service Unit 141. Contact Ardmore UMC Girl Scout Troops Coordinator Mary Jo Brewer to get connected!

Pack 749 meets in the Scout Hut behind Ardmore UMC 6:30pm - 7:30pm every Monday during the school year. Contact Scout Masters Jay Jackson or Kevin Heath to get connected!

Ardmore UMC is a Safe Sanctuaries church. Our Safe Sanctuaries policy functions to protect all people, especially children and other vulnerable populations, creating a safe environment for all of our ministries and events at our church.

We require all volunteers to attend training every two years. If you need be trained in Safe Sanctuaries, contact our Director of Christian Education Jessica Dalton.
